Megapsychoticone The feel good album of the year. If the apocalypse began and fire rained from the sky as you were slowly dragged across rusty razor-wire fields this album would be the soundtrack. Favorite track: Antietam.

about

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Primitive Man create a punishing blackened doom/sludge with traces of drone and d-beat. If you listen to bands such as The Body, Thou or Khanate then their earth-shattering, bleak wall of crushing dissonance and pure sonic heaviness is for you. Though Scorn is only the band’s debut full-length, it already sounds like one of the heaviest and most brutal records you’ll hear for a while. Thirty nine minutes of pure, unrelenting destruction that will leave you bruised and bleeding.
